ORANGES CARAMEL

4 NAVEL ORANGES, PEELED AND SECTIONED

1/3 CUP BROWN SUGAR

3 TABLESPOONS MAPLE SYRUP

2 TABLESPOONS LEMON JUICE

2 TABLESPOONS WATER

 

1. DIVIDE THE ORANGES AMONG INDIVIDUAL SERVING DISHES.

2. COMBINE BROWN SUGAR, SYRUP, LEMON JUICE, AND WATER IN SMALL SAUCEPAN. BRING TO A BOIL, REDUCE HEAT, AND SIMMER UNTIL MIXTURE BEGINS TO THICKEN. POUR THE SAUCE OVER THE ORANGES AND SERVE AT ONCE.
