Frequently Asked Questions about the Special Interest Camporees

Q. Is this a council camporee this year?
A. No. There will be a council-wide camporee in fall 2009.

Q. Then are these camporees district camporees?

A. No. These camporees have no relationship to a particular district and are each open to members and units from all districts.

Q. Why are we having these four events instead of a council or district camporee?

A. To have some fun! We want to offer you a variety of events to choose from. Some of these events are more costly than a usual camporee, but offer a value or experience not available to an individual unit. You can choose to participate in any or all of the events.

Q. How will we register for these events?

A. We expect to have registration available within the next month. When it opens, you can register online via our website: www.cccbsa.org.  We’ll include a note in the emailed TrailBlazer to alert you that registration has been opened for each event.

Q. I have another question not listed here. How can I get that answered?

A. The best method is to email camporee@cccbsa.org so that we can direct your question to a camporee team member best able to answer your question.
